The Gables Guest house, Hereford
We have double twin and single rooms, all with television and drinks facilities. Our double rooms have locally made oak four poster beds, and have a shower and toilet en-suite. Our twin-bedded room has a hand basin and toilet en-suite, with separate shower and bathroom next door. All rooms are equipped with hair-dryers, and an ironing board is available upon request.

There is a period dining room and a separate, peaceful residents’ lounge with a selection of books for a quiet read.

Our breakfasts are made with the finest local butcher’s meats and local free range eggs.

The Gables has its own traditional period Tearoom, the menu strongly influenced by local produce, serving fresh cut sandwiches, home-made soups and cakes, and cream teas with fresh baked scones, local clotted cream and jam. Open most weekends in season.

There is also a tearoom attached to the local craft shop, and Weobley boasts three inns: two with restaurants attached. There is also a popular bistro restaurant in the village. For those with more modest appetites, we get a twice weekly visit by a mobile Fish & Chips van, Thursday and Saturday nights.

There is ample parking in front of The Gables and we have a driveway leading to a garden approximately one acre in size.

We are in the centre of the village, within easy walking distance of all facilities
